study abroad development grants

The U.S. Department of Education Title VI funding for the Center for Advanced Study of International Development (CASID) and Women and Internatinal Development (WID) includes budget allocations to support core and consulting faculty development and/or program development. CASID and WID have allocated resources for the following priority activity for FY2006-2010:

• Increase foreign language study options in study abroad programs in Africa, Asia or Latin America.

CASID and WID are prepared to make one annual award to support:

• Creation of opportunities for undergraduate students to study a foreign language in study abroad programs in Africa, Asia or Latin America.
