Pamela Galbraith is a doctorial candidate in the Department of Anthropology. She is researching the development of civil society in post-socialist Eastern Europe and has completed her dissertation fieldwork with the women's non-governmental organizations in Bulgaria. She coordinates outreach activities for the Center for Advanced Study of International Development.
